i sorta doubt this is the right place to post this, if it is can someone move this for me? Anyways, I want to start modding a new case i recently bought. I'm gonna need alot of plexiglass for it, but i have no idea where to buy some. I also see from the orac3 mod worklog i'll need special bits for working with it. Anyone know where i can buy some fairly large sheets of clear, colored, and maybe even UV reactive pelxiglass?

Maybe a scrap or tint shop, try ebay, and look for plexiglass shops on the internet (like in general, I mean any shops).
Hope this helps,

Try Tap Plastics. I think there is one in Sac. They also have the bargain bin, where you can pick up scraps of plexi for REAL cheap. They also sell everything you will need to work with the plexi, including bits, small saws and polish (and glue if needed). They also do custome cuts, but it will cost you. Example: I picked up a piece of 1/2 inch plexi for less than $20, but they wanted to charge me $20+ to cut it in a circle... Took me less than 20 minutes to cut my own circle, but another couple of hours to sand it down to perfection.

There's a TAP near my house somewhere...
