xbox360 to hd computer monitor?

If so how and what would be a good monitor.

Hi Def dispalays can display video at around 1024/768, although i'm sketchy on the actual numbers. So yes, you can get Hi Def on a monitor.

what about sound can i get like speakers with the red and white connections or do I have to do something fancy?

You dont need anything fancy unless you plan on using some 5.1 speakers. Then you would need something like this http://www.weisd.com/store2/CABAUD-3040.jpg

or wait let me think...I think in that picture instead of the black wire male it should be female I think. I have a cable sitting around somewhere Ill find it and let you know. I was planning on getting a 360 but then I changed my mind since the jump from PC games to the 360 isnt all that incredible.
