Personally i wouldnt need somthing like that. I can have 3 monitors and a tv hooked to my computer. Good thought though.

yeah you certainly don't need one, but anyone with an old stock computer could use one

The quality would be awful...there's only so much info you can pass through USB, so the refresh rate would be tiny.

It wouldnt be suited for games or grafically intencive applications but it would be perfect for somone who did a lot of word processing or browsing.

True, true. But 5volts isn't enough to power it-you'll need an external power source, and USB can only provide 5volts.
