Metal fan?

Anyone know about any metal fans? I was thinking of making a car mod but I wont tell you what it is yet :D

The only real metals fans I've used are out of rackmount equipment or standalone server equipment.

If you're going for large, loud, and deadly (for your fingers), look for old telco equipment from the early 90's and tear it apart. You'll find fans from 6" to 15" and they can push enough cfm to cool down 3 cases.


If you don't want your car to sound like a helicopter, then I can't help you.

There were also some IBM rack systems that had fans that would lift a small dog...

That onyx1 fan got me drooling.

I'm trying to figure out how to make custom ducts for a case mod I'm planning and power it with a 14" fan.

That metal thing was scary. Very scary. Judas Priest scary.

That was gnarly dude. I havent seen so many mullets in such a long.... Well I've never seen so many mullets... Thats definitly from the vintage collection that should never have been.
