Hi

Have just bought the Armor Jr and would love to stealth my dvd-rw drive to retain the look of the case with no drives. I have seen how-to's on many sites and it seems easy enough apart from the fact that the sections removed from the Armor case are different on the back (will try and get some photos)

Any ideas???

Ok, hopefully these pics will work...

The front of the insert

Insert from behind

The problem seems to be that the insert is too deep and would stick out the front of the case so i need to somehow trim this down but don't have a clue how

Can you move the optical drive back at all?

He should be able to. And if he can't, he should mod it so he can.

That's what I was forced to do on my Cooler Master case.

Anywho, yeah. Trim the bezel so that it can be adhered to an optical drive, then slide the drive back, align it, and WHAM clean lookin' case.

Unfortunately I'm a bit of a noob so I wouldn't like to try and mod the slider system that the drive uses to stay in place so I think trimming the insert down is my best bet.

Will need to get out the trusty hacksaw!

Will post some pics if all goes to plan...

Thanks
