POST problems

ok...so i was workin on my computer tonight...decided to organize the cablesgot it all cleaned up

give it power and it freezes at the very beginning of the POST right after it gives processor speed....ive tried changing ram nothing.....i removed ALL components so its just mobo and ram....still the same

tried resetting BIOS- nothing

any suggestions?

Check all connections, see if one of the IDE cables is loose. Also, make sure there is no USB drives connected. I know you said you removed everything... but something is wrong, also, try clearing the CMOS.

yeah...i grabbed the wrong jumper.....was too lazy to read closely...they hid the cmos clear jumper off above my agp...instead of by the cmos chip itsself
