Can any Aussie modder's out there recomend me a good brand of dremel that is cheap but can still cut well and wont break.

Not Australian, but i can't stress enough how much of a difference a proper dremel makes. Check out my worklog (stage 1) for proof.

First of all, dremel is a brand. If you mean recommending a brand of rotary tool; there is not many to choose from besides dremel and a bunch of copies

I was going to buy me a rip off of dremel from Harborfreight but decided to use my brothers first before buying one. I didnt like the fact that it didnt cut that well and that the cutters and grinders for it seemed really cheap so I just decided to buy me an actual dremel I can not even say how much the actuall dremel cuts better than the rip off of it.

It may be a bit more money but in the end it is cheaper.

Agreed, i have a cheap dremel, from woolworths in the UK, dont get me wrong, its good and has lasted 3 years so far but i borrowed a real dremel from work and you can tell the difference.
