View Full Version : Stupid bees got me

I didn't know that bees had built a nest in my front lawn. When I ran them over with my mower, they attacked. I got stung 3 times in my left leg and once on my back. I didn't have any poison, but I figured that probably cost about $10. So I used $2 worth of gasoline and a match.

I ain't allergic or anything. After the fireball, I finished mowing my lawn. :D

Better bees than anything else. Hornets aren't much fun and can sting you much faster and repeatedly.


I don't think Satan's mind was on taking pictures when he was making fire.

Lucky for you, you're not allergic. For me, 3 stings would have meant the ER...
Burn the SObees is all I say.

I first misread the title to "Stupid beers got me" I and thought: modding while intoxicated, that's reckless. Luckily, I was wrong.

Bees are cool it's the wasps I hate. Nasty angry little buggers they are. Mind if You are allergic then neither is worth an invite I guess.

I suppose I'm biased as the humble bumble is the symbol of Manchesters industrious history. And the mighty Boddingtons Beer!! Though not in Manchester anymore:(

What a surprise... TheGreatSatan making a fireball... :D Sounds nasty though, I hate bees. I got stung on my neck once, that wasn't fun.

Yeah the factory is still there but slowly being moved away,the production that is, not sure where mind. Shame too they've been makin beer there for donkeys years.:(

I always hope this just before being stung. Found out too late that a colony of wasps setup home in a retaining wall just behind my house. After being stung twice, I headed to the hardware store and purchased some poison (which I NEVER do anywhere around my house) and waited until after sunset and emptied the whole can into the nest. If it wasn't for being so close to the house I would have gone the fireball route...

Oh i get it! The bee's where chilling minding their own buisness when some grass hacking human decided to run over there home with a lawnmower! Unsuprisingly the bee's didnt appretiate this very much and came out to see what was going on and gave the offender a good telling of...then WHAM. The human takes it to a whole new level and sets there newly mown down home ON FIRE!!

I can imagine the shrieks of the tiny little grubs fighting for life as the flames engulfed them. "heeelp...heeeeelp ect ect"

You should be ashamed. Its the bee's i feel sorry for.

How satan lives with himself amazes me. Look at his happy face...now picture FLAMES engulfing him. If i where you id pray for forgivness before the bee god strikes you down, you foul beast.

Notice the water at the bee's feet - one of the lucky ones.

I still reckon wasps are bad tempered little buggers. Bee's arent that bad. In fact I reckon Yer more likley to be stung to death by wasps than You are from the humble bumble!!

tiz true blue73, at least bee's can only sting you once, then they die, some wasps go bezerk and sting you as much as they can, did you know there are over 60,000 types of wasp, not all of them sting. this one http://whatsthatbug.com/ichneumons.html being one of the weirdest.

My leg is all swollen at the ankle where they stung me. I have been stung before, but not like this. Maybe they injected me with more poisen because I threatened the nest?

Keep ice on it and keep it above your heart and you should be fine. Their stingers are more of an irritant to skin and muscle than poisonous to people not allergic to their stings.

If it continues to swell or doesn't get better in a couple of days, go see a doctor. They can give you something to help.
