Alright, my questions probabley pretty nooby...And you'reprobabley going to say that I have no business in computers, But I might have shorted somthing.

Alright, i was instaling a LED STICK, and I left it on to see how it looks. And I have the worlds first vacuum tube motherboard from Aopen, so it kept going liek "you're mouse is not connected!" on its mini speaker inside the computer.

So I pulled the speaker power cable from the front panel electric pin things. And later, i conected it back in, And it didn't work. So I pulled all of them off, and connected them back in, and now, my turn on obtton doesnt work. So I can do anything with it. I need some help.

Are you for real?

You've just messed up the pin configuration. Check your mobo manual for the proper placement of the pins. If you dont have the manual, get a magnafying lense and look at the letters on the mobo around the pins. they should tell you what pin is what.

Yeah the motherboard has a vacuum tube on it. I have like the power of an audigy two on my motherboard.

And I have an Audigy 2 ZS Platnuim on one of my pci's anyway.

-KK, I still have all the papers from my motherboard at home. I'll check it when I go home. Im at work now

I'm telling you I'm new to the whole computer modding stuff. I'm not a genius to the whole this wire goes on this pin, and this wire goes on that pin.

Here is my Tube Motherboard.

Also, look where the pins go. On some mobos, above and below the pins it will say what goes where.

I wouldn't worry too much about sounding "nooby" - noobs have been made welcome in the past - mainly cos we all know, somewhere in our dark distant pasts we don't talk about in public, we were one once too.....

Go to the manufacturers website - download the manual for the motherboard - it should tell you exactly which pins on the motherboard to connect to which cables inside the PC. You don't have to worry about polarity for power/reset switches, they'll work in either direction, but you must make sure the LEDs are wired the right way. Saying that, if you get em wrong, they just wont work - you shouldn't do any damage....
