tv or not?

that is a link to the intel 950 media graphics accelertor. what i need to know is if that will let me use a plane tv as a substitute monitor? also on a scale of 1 to 10 if it will let me use a tv where would the display quality rate on that scale?

Using a tv via a graphics card requires an adapter to change the signal to NTSC.

If your adapter is decently high quality your image will be good enough to watch movies on, but it's hard to read.
If it's cheap text will be almost impossible.

Televisions are not designed to run the resolutions computer monitors can. I have a television that I thought would be cool to hook up my computer to but the quality was really bad, watching movies was good but as stated by the user above, text is illedgable.
