I'm just wondering what the video card that is for Direct X 10 is called.
How expensive is it? $500?

DirectX 10 isn't out yet, it's only for Vista, (or at least thats was Wiki said). So I don't think that any have DirectX 10 yet.

There are no DirectX 10 cards out yet, and DirectX 10 itself will not be released until after the launch of Windows Vista. Maleficus was correct.
At this point, I would highly recommend saving your money for the new Conroe processors and the next generation of video cards. There is just too much on the immediate horizon to justify dumping a lot of money on a top-end gaming rig, since much of it will not be compatible or will be overshadowed by much faster and better hardware specs in the very, very near future.
Of course, that is just my opinion.

Good suggestions.
I am not waiting for vista, rather the slew of new processor options coming this fall (hopefully).
I however will be building a system based on XP and not vista as I do not expect vista to be very stable or able to run all of my software. Just like when XP came out, there were early adopters, but the majority of people waited until they believed it was stable enough for them to run reliably (sp2).
I personally ran win98 untill the games I wanted would not run on it(only use my windows pc for games), then I upgraded to XP and timed it right with SP2.
I would offer that unless you are sitting on the edge of your seat waiting/needing features that vista will have (and they keep removing more everyday), go ahead and build your rig with the idea of changing it out in a couple of years time.
Edit: BTW welcome back maximan1!

Welcome back! 8)
Correct me if i'm worng most mobo's these days still have plugs for internal floppy drives. Even though most people have stoped using flopies and are now using usb drives.
Ah I remember the first rig I built it was a sweet day. Until static electricity killed my video card. Thank God I kept the recipts.

Correct. Mobo manufacturers will continue to include floppy controllers on the board for many years to come. Alot of devices still have thier drivers on floppy and just try and load extra drivers when installing windows _without_ a floppy. I had to steal one from the wifes system just to install my raid setup under XP.
A $2.50 investment in a wrist strap is the first thing any builder/modder should buy...(or just hold that ground wire in your teeth)

If im not mistaken, won't vista will let you install raid drivers in windows? (eliminating the need for those stupid floppies)

Not sure about vista, but as soon as vista come out another piece of HW will arrive on the market with drivers on floppy (since XP does not allow you to install drivers from a cd during the os install), and most users will still be on XP for a couple years after vista.
This is the same issue with linux, although I know there is a fix in the pipeline for fedora and debian.
