Hmm and interestign change of topic their. Bring a whole new deifiniton to off topic. He must have a bank account with a fair bit of money and a good credit rating. Or the card is managed by his parents. You can get credit cards like that.
Back on topic spam is anoying something needs to be done. ranken?
Also you can go on segway tours around Paris. I saw it on a travel show.

I'm not so sure if raken can edit the forum. I think you buy the layout and javascript and put in your own topic forums.

I have the answer... Make a pointless place in the forums and just take off the post count.

Eh I like my post count increasing.
Makes me feel special.
You lot are gonna get in **** when a mod see's this, they have already said aobut all the pointless crap being posted here.
Do you really think quality modders want to post in a forum that looks to be inhabited by a bunch of children?
The best way to deal with spam is to ignore it and report it using the little reg triangle icon at the bottom right hand corner and posting pointless rubish dosnt increase your post count because it just gets deleted and makes you look like a div. It also wastes bandwidth costing the people who runn this site money.

Pretty much: I'm sorry about all the SPAM, but the number of bots is increasing and we're doing our best to increase our policing of the boards. As me and Rankenphile alternate in our times, we think we cover most of the forums. So this is an apology about the SPAM, and now i'm locking this thread because it's immature. Thanks!
-Dave
Rankenphile's note: Dave is right. We're doing as much as we can right now to keep the boards as spam-free as we can. If it gets a lot worse than it is already, we may look into creating another security feature, such as forced input for registration, but that is a lot of work that we don't need to add to our already full plates right now.
As far as derailing threads and forcing off-topic conversations, don't. We've talked about this, and it is not something we look at favorably.
Thanks.
