So new here, and this is my first case mod/build. And tips anyone has is greatly appreciated.

I have started on pulling it apart for modding. Removing the drive cages to make room for the water cooler.

Wow! That's going to be super bright. My recommendation though- do it with vinyl. You have the graphic laid out already. A sign shop could cut that out for not a lot of money. You won't have to spend a lot of time masking and painting. The finish will look flawless. And if you ever changed your mind you could peel it off.

That's a good idea, though I am having help from a guy who has an entire paint booth set up. Also we are thinking about doing some fading on the design across the case, making it look kinda rustic a bit.
