I want to add a blue gloss Radiation Sign to the side of my pre-painted (black gloss) Cyberpower SLi Elite case without messing up the existing paint. How would I go about doing this? (price does matter)

Also I would think that a decal would be hard to get on straight.

If you have photoshop, save the graphics to a cd, bring it to sign printing shop. Once the vinly is done, appily it, then clear coat it.

you can do it the old fashioned way.

search on google.

or...

depending on the size of the logo, you can make a stencil.
you do this by printing your photoshop made logo onto card stock type paper.
then cut out colored areas with an x-acto knife(or razer, utility, or even scalple)
prep the painting area
then mask off rest of case with a plastic bag and spraypaint.

if you are doing multiple colors...

do thae same as above for each color but only cut out what you want colored.
place the logo on your case (where you want it)

lay the base template down.
tape off the edges but leave the corners untaped for now.

use a wet-erase overhead marker to outline the corners.

this ensures accurate placement of next template.

mask off like normal and spray the base coat.

take template off and let dry completely.

use the wet-erase marks to line up the next mast and repeat until you have a finished product.

if you want to clear coat it you have to spray the entire panel.
if it looks too different next to the case, you have to spray the entire case excluding trim.

hope that helped you

remember, always practice on something less critical first. like a peice of plywood or the wall in your garage.

a better template material is vinyl
and the best is pinstriping tape, then blue tape to fill in
(pros do this but it requires experiance to do very well)

if you're going to pinstripe, don't use zigs painty pens. Their terrible at pinstriping
