Lower.

1.5 is amazing, 2.0 is great, 2.5 is pretty standard, 3.0 is okay, 4.0 is severly crap, and 5.0 is like, as slow as the special ed kids with down syndrome.

Is that a good Rule of Thumb? Isn't 4-4-4 on DDR2 RAM modules really good? Don't you also have to factor in memory speed? Because I saw the Corsair XMS2 at a rated speed of 1067 with 5-5-5 timings for $450!

the only difference in these two i see are the model names, is one just newer then the other ?

or im just not seeing somthing

same cas latency, but the other timings are differant, lower timings are better, so the more expensive set will run faster. not a lot faster, but faster.
