well for AGP i recommend the ATI Radeon 9550 and for PCI-E i recommend 7600 GT. ive tested both of them and they should both run source games. good low range cards.

From what I can tell, that has the highest Core Clock speed of all of the 128mb cards, so unless you want to spend some more money and get one with 256mb of memory, that is probably your best bet.

check out this card should do what ever you want it to for a while, and has higher specs than the one your looking at, for only a few dollars more..

the first con on that card says it runs source poorly. trust me, go with the card i suggested.

Sapphire's ATI Radeon 9550 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102484)

This 9600 XT has the best reviews. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102338)

I have one of the pci 5200's and you are right qoou it runs source poorly (and several other games). When my SO's laptop died I slapped together a pci only system and she got that card. She is happy with it since it looks good playing on-demand hockey at 1280x1024.
