Laser Mouse meets LCD... amazing mod!

I saw this (http://www.metku.net/index.html?path=mods/loginoki/index_eng) on MAKE today and thought it was pretty cool, but of course the first thing I thought was "man why didn't think of that?" Sorry if someone has already posted something about this, I looked and didn't see anything about it here.

Anyways this could be a big mod theme if it catches on. Wait about a week or two and Logitech will introduce their own product line version of this.

Nice find, I gatta buy 1 of those things, If I could find a phone screan, I could probabley fit it in the mouse, Although it would ahve no porpuse.

You could always find a purpose, like showing drive temperatures, CPU/GPU temperatures, fan speeds, percentage of CPU used, how much memory you have left, maybe the remaining time in your Winamp playlist, or how far you are through a DVD, maybe make it a clock, and with some clever coding maybe realtime stats of the video game your currently playing. The possibilities are endless...

A clock would make more sense than anything else.

In a game, your hand is almost always on the mouse. Right now, as I am typing this reply, I can look at my mouse for the time. Then again.... I can always look at the bottom corner of my PC screen. Next there will be an LCD screen in the keyboard... Oh wait, Logitech has it on their G15 and Optimus has it in their keys...

Hey, that sounds like a great idea for someone who wants to look like a master modder but isn't! What I'm wondering is if that screen will fit in a Logitech MX 518 Mouse (predesesor to the G5)?
