Ok I'm new the PC M0d scene. So I'm asking for a little advice on where should I start with this AMD Server Case. Below are some picutures to give you a better idea. I'm very much pro Apple and Windows so I was thinking about installing a G4 motherboard on the side and a MicroATX motherboard on the bottom. Kind of like a dual two in one computer with a built in sharing switch. What do you think?

I've always liked the idea of a dual mobo system. Looks like that case has enough room too. Nice set of wheels on there as well. couple of motors, a speed controller, oh wait, wrong board...

Yeah, The other guy posted the same case under "Case Files", he got it for $100. I like the case. You probabley can fit 2 mobo's. I would try having a Intel & an AMD mobo in it. So you kind of have the best of both. So that way, and intel guy can critise you, and an AMD guy cant critise you.

Also, on 1 mobo, Hook it up with like a Radeon x1900, and on the other 1, put on like a geforce 7900 or somthing. Get the best of both companies.

i have one also. im think about a media center pc? but you are going to have to do alot of modding for this case as it was purpose built and not made for consumers. im just curious where di u get ur case? i got mine at discount electronics in Austin, TX.

Jesus! I thouight media centre PC's were supposed to be subtle. You're really going against the flow if you follow through with that!

I think it would make a cool server case.

Oh my gosh I just had the biggest brain wave. Make it a media center PC put then take it to an ulpostery place and get them to put padding and leather on it the same colour as the couches in your lounge room. And while it looks like a foot rest or a weird seat it is actyually a media center PC.

Dam I wish I had that case I would so mod it like that.

Also the wheel on it look really weird Kinda remind me of skateboard wheels.

Not only is that an amzing idea, but i can show you how to upholster it yourself! All you need is a staple gun. Although the case will take some modding.

That would probably be a really good server case but that also looks like it would be really good for modding a monitor into it... :D

By the way does that have any 5.25" drive bays?

Yeah you could fit like a 17" LCD nicley in the side of that with not much trouble. From the looks of it you wouldn't even need to do any cutting as it appears the side panesl can be unscrewed. Although if you put a screen in it one would presume you would want it on your desk but I reckon the case is way to large and wide to use on a desk.

What would be cool if you put a media center Pc in it and a projector. And have the case across the otherside of the room and and a suitable wall or screen oposite. So it would be a computer anda projector on wheels. That would be one very cool but expensive mod.

I had a look around at projector prices. Dam so expensive. I would love to do the projector mod but the only thing holding me back in the price of the projector's these days. I was thinking of putting a paypal donate link it my sig but that would be seriously lame and I doubt I would raise the $3,832.46 US ($5000 AUD) required. Any way I might see if i can get my hands on one of these cases though.
