case logo

how would i go about removing the cases orrigional logo? i want to replace it with my own. Its a white logo ontop of a black plastic hinged door that reveals the IO pannel.

EDIT: also note that i do not want to ruin the orrigional finnish. as i doubt i could recreate it O,o

Maybe look at it? Figure out how to remove it. The best way to learn is to learn on your own :P

I'm guessing that it's stuck on there with some sort of adhesive, so put on some Goo-Gone or another kind of adhesive remover, let it sit for a couple of minutes, and carefully take a knife to the edge and work you way around it, slowly peeling it up.

it kindah looks like a paint job to me :S

If you think it's paint, on plastic it'll come off with standard paint thinners. Be fast, and be very easy on the thinners - do NOT pour it on - use a piece of scrap cloth, just very damp NOT dripping wet with thinners and rub it on then off again almost immediately - it'll burn the plastic if you get too heavy handed with it - it might take several goes to get it all off but if it IS paint, it should do the job
