View Full Version : need help with sound problems !

i put all of my stuf i the new case today ... and i turned it on to test bf2 ... then i realised it was NO sound at all ! PS: there is a little wire that stands sound on, it is one black and one red wire that goes in to an female contakt with 4 conektions on ! but im a noob so i dont know where to put it .. also i have a HP mainboard ... not so many options to put things :S:?

does the new case have front audio ports? if so are they connected? if they are, do the wires you connected them with have loopbacks - you may have disabled the rear ports when you enabled the front ones....

Jess .. i have solved the problem ! i youst tok the audio and mic ports from the old case and put in the new one :D

Ok, I am guessing you are not from the us, witch explains you're poor grammer / english. Anyways, I was going to suggest a new or better sound card, but it seems you have solved the problem.

Im from norway ! anyway, i had i mind to buy a new soundcard, but i also want a new ... wtf?.... graphicscard ? do you know a good one , it have to be pci-e to :)

Yes, The one Maz suggested is one of the top-of-the-line cards today, although I like evga or whatever its called.

What about Sapphire Radeon X1600XT 256MB or PowerColor Radeon X1600XT Bravo 256MB ? are the good ? also i want they to run bf2 and bf 2142 on hige an as many antialising as posible ! :D
