Xbox/Computer Mod

So this is what I am thinking. I am going to take my current computer I am on right now and I am going to take an xbox and then I am going to rip both apart and stick them into a "new" case which I will then mod the heck out of.

So lets concentrate on that "case" for right now. This is the case....

This is what I want to do to it.
- One front 120mm / Two 80mm intakes in a triangular fashion.
- Two top 80mm fans
- Two back 80mm fans
- A "Xbox Theme" Paint Job ...or something like that :P

Thats all I have planned for RIGHT NOW.. but I am sure I will think of other things.. WHICH IS WHERE YOU GUYS COME IN!! :)

If anybody wants to throw in idea's for this mod then please do! lol cuz I have no idea what I am doing! :D

For starters, you may need to think space through a little more. My friend added a 120mm fan to the top of his case, and barely had room for 1. 4 80mm? Not sure that will work.

3 120mm front fans. I did a quick conversion in my head (so expect it to be off a little) and that is app. 15". The total height of the case is 17".

2 back 80mm, that should be fine. Same with the paint job.

But I also doubt that a computer AND Xbox will fit in a mid tower case. But if anyone has done it, please correct me.

Maybe look into a full tower case? Otherwise, sounds good to me.

Okay, I looked at few people who did mods like this... and it looks like I am not going to be able to do it. :(

The good news is that I am still going to build the case! :) I think this also opens up alot of room for more "modding" and "design" that I can put into the computer case without worrying about the xbox. And it even gets better! I am going to TRY and sell my xbox, 2 controllers, and 4-5 games like on ebay or something and use what ever money I get for this case.

I think in the front I am going to do ONE 120mm with two 80mm below it in a triangular fashion. As for the top I am going to be doing two 80mm. The back is still going to have the originally planned two 80mm fans and I have decided to do a window with a 120mm fan.

I say work the Xbox aspect into it somehow, would you please elaborate on why you cant mix an xbox and PC - its always been my dream to get like a TT armor or kandal or something and put a PC, xbox, and PS2 into it. I had some sick ideas on how to do it too, hit me up on AIM and we can talk about it in more detail.

Space isn't necessarily a problem, getting ports to the outside of the case is more of a challenge, though not technically that difficult.

Power is another concern, though again not to hard to beat.

The Xbox is so close to pc harware that I think it would be easier than my project.

Cool. In that case, I think you should do it. I've wanted to do this, but I just finished painting my Xbox, not knowing it would fit in a case lol. Oh well, better luck nextime.
