This is my first mod so im not sure how well of a job i did but im pleased with it. I painted the inside of my thermaltake tsunami case a worn copper. I replaced all the stock fans inside with aerocool fans. Replaced the video card stock cooler with a zalman. I have 2 blue ccfl lights inside and 2 blue ccfl lights on the underside of my case. I cut the hole in the top of my case to put the 120mm intake fan in. (intake there gets me lower temps than outtake) im pushing between 300cfm and 350cfm of air through my case depending on what i have my fans set at. I installed a zalman fan controller in the front of my case, tight fit with a case door. I also installed a biohazard window app. as you can see. Hope to hear what everybody thinks of my case and thank you for visiting it! :D

Unless you like like those purple tool-less mounting rails, I would do something. They really don't fit in with your scheme you've got going on. Other than that, fantastic.

yah when i was done painting i noticed them sticking out and im meaning to paint them either black and silver or just paint them copper or just take them out completely! im not sure yet what u think?

id say paint the latches black
because it would contrast with the copper over the top but still blend....plus it matches your color theme of your case

Why not just build a small cover for those latches? You could paint it copper as well.

Aside from that and the cable management, I think it's a great looking case. Blue and copper always looks good together. (Go Oilers Go!)

:D

black latches gets my vote too. good contrast... not like there isnt any already...

do i see sparkly stuff in the black paint? if i do... nice job. if im wrong... do it. the sparklies would make it look like black galaxy. its a balck granite with golden speckles in it, and is very popular and expensive, and very nice looking. then you could patent it and call it the black galaxy paint job.

i used spray paint. only way to get everything coated evenly. just do alot of thin coats unless the can says differently.

Wow, for a first mod that is AMAZING! Kudos on your work. I have a question with the paint; did you just spray it from the can or did you use a paint gun? I'm wanting to know because I want to paint my case, but don't want to fork out the money for a paint gun lol. Whatever you used, good job!

i just used the can of paint. nothing else, no top for the top to help "get an even coat" or anything. just me and a can of paint. Good Luck

Okay, that copper accent you have going on in there? AWESOME!! This is usually why people buy the windows that exclude seeing the drive bays because most people dont like to look at them. I LIKE TO LOOK AT YOURS! lol Seriously. Give youself a pat on the back! Well done. How did you get the idea of doing copper? Thats not a paint color that I would think of doing on a computer so thats why I ask.

I just cant stop looking at it. lol its so pretty! :D

Well i was planning on doing a yellowish orange but I couldn't find a color that I liked. So I had to find another color... well I was just staring at the inside of my case and thought a worn copper would look sweet with the copper cpu heatsink, copper northbridge heatsink, and my copper heatsink on my 7900GT graphics card. So thats how I decided. I also painted the quick release pci slot holder too. i painted the base of it copper (the purple part) and the handles (black) looks 100 times better now. everything blends really well. thanx for the responce.

WOW nice
the copper case interior and the battlefield 2 window is tight
but i would suggest cable management and try to match the colors better

Nice job.
BTW was that copper paint you used Rustoleum's metallic finish stuff?
The one that is supposed to leave a "beaten" look to the finish?

good clean looking case man.very clean. I would just work on some cable management and you could prolly get case temps down even lower.

I have the same case, i got it for christmas, its not upgraded tho,

I need some leds, a fan guard, a new power supply cuz mine sounds like
it wants to crap the bed.

And, it would be nice to have it water cooled, but my pc is not good enough to have
that much money spent on it.

I love the Tsunami case XD you just made it even better! +rep
:3

EDIT: BTW here's an idea to mod it even further: add some EL wire to the front of the case, that's what i did to mine, example here, crappy pic but you get the gist :D http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a226/leminausa4/PhotO-0060.jpg

I like it.

Clear coats make it super shiny.

But don't mix Acrylic with enamel.
