ok, on the left side of ym case i have my window showin into the comp but onto the right side of the case it's just a blank panel, and i really want to put a design on it, don't kno wat yet, i was thinking of using vinyl but then i thought in the dark, with no lights on u wouldn't be able to see it, so how would i go about sticking my design on and then somehow lighting it up.

You could cut a window, get some plexi, frost it, attach it to the window, and put the vinyl over the window. Otherwise, I don't know.

Turn on the lights in the room? :p
But what .Maleficus proposed it a pretty good idea. Or what you could do is use those lights that are on the Doom 3 mod (at the bottom front of the case) that lights up the Doom 3 logo.

you can etch the window and light it up with an led. the etched part will catch light, but the rest wont, and your design will show up.

I hope you aren't suggesting him to etch it by hand.
Sure you can get it laser etched but you lose all the different colors, if you don't mind that.

google "laser etching UK". theres a few places. i saw one that charged £15 minimum order, no setup fee. im looking into the same thing.
was what i read correct? all i have to do to make an etch light up is point an LED at it? cos that would be cool for the lid on my case.

k, got new idea, i was thinking, of cuttin the design into my side panel and then putting plexi behind and stickin a led behind it to light it up, how easy would that be.

You want the window to light up? I'm not sure if a non-frosted window will catch light very well, so you might have to frost it, but that's no big deal. Just take some fine grain sand paper and sand it until you get your desired level of opacity. Then it will glow more.
