Sorry, i didnt know where to post this, but i have a wueation i need answered ASAP

My new project is probably gonna require a MicroATX PSU.

Is 350w gonna be enought to power

Pentium D930
1gig of ddr2 ram
x800pro

Its gonna be a very small case so im probably not gonna have to many lights or anything like that, I just really dont want to have to do an external PSU.

Thank,
Brad

Lets hope so, because I couldn't find anything above 350W at Newegg, and they have the widest selection I've found. You can probably find a higher one somewhere else, but 350W should be good.

The only problem you might have is your video card. Some cards need more power than others. What is the extact model/make of the card you have? Or better yet, does it specify anywhere a minimum number of watts your PSU needs?

I would have to say that 350 is the highest you can go for small form factor power supplies. I did manage to dig this up.. not sure if it is what you are looking for or anything though....

350 should do for that hardware. it probably wont leave much room, but it should do.

if it isnt enough... well you can always slap another in there if theres room. just a small one to pick up the extra needed power.

I dont think i want to pay an extra $240 for an extra 50w.

Since the 350w is only $20 ill give it a shot, thanks guys.

Once i get all my plans worked out ill start posting up in the project galleries

I had the same problem. I ran mine off the stock 250 watt and added ATI Radeon 9000. Basically the power unit fried and shot the motherboard (couldn't find the location). Stick with a higher wattage. I'm trying to get a 450 and a case (diabloATX... YESSS)lol.
