Hi I'm new to the whole computer modding scene, and I would like to have an opinion on my case.
I bought my case last year, this was before I ever heard of modding, and I was just looking for something cool. (looks and airflow) In the end I chose this.

Anyway, It glows blue, and even though you cant see it, the other side has a clear pannel. (I apologize for the lack of good photos, and for the size of the ones I have)
What interior color would best make the blue lighting stand out?
I was thinking metallic blue?
Anyway I would really appreciate your opinion.
Thank you.

Welcome to the boards!
Dupli-Color makes a very sweet series of anodized-looking paints, and the blue looks very nice. If you're interested, here is a link (http://duplicolor.com/products/metalcast.html). If you can find a store near you selling it, I would definately look into that.

Welcome!
There's two ways that Would be easy (that I thought of right off the top), both of them keep the chrome (it's a very nice accent). One thought is you have a blue light to make it stand out, paint all the black parts of the case Red. This will be contrasted by the blue lighting which should make it stand out more.
The other option paint all the black parts Blue.
.Male> is right Duplicolor's anodized paints are very cool, but you need to put down a good silver base to pull off the anodized look. But if you use other colors for the base the add (or subtract) from the depth of the final color. For an example look in the R2SRV worklog in featured work logs. I used a metalic purple for the base with 3 coats of the blue anodized over it and it's crazy deep, in some lighting conditions it looks deep purple in most it looks like a sweet blue. If your thinking on doing the diffrent color base, test it out on some scrap before you paint the case. Also check out the tips and tricks thread for great info on painting and how to get that awesome shiny finish.
Good Luck

Welcome to the wonderful world of wonk... I mean modding! Here your best dreams will come true!
lol, ok that was wierd. Sorry. Anyways, You could do what I am doing on the inside of my Nzxt Lexa. I wanted it to glow a nice blue so what I am doing is getting Blue UV Reactive Spray Paint from www.xoxide.com and a single UV cold cathode and a single blue cold cathode (Dual Cathode system but different colors) from www.newegg.com.
At any rate, Whatever you decide to do make sure you do it right. Otherwise you will most likely be dissapointed. Look up some guides and stuff online. Here is one website that might help you. http://guides.pcapex.com/#PCApex%20Paintshop
BTW
Sweet case! I love alienware products

Note: He brought the case last year not the system. There are a number of alienware knock off cases on the markert that isn't an alienware case the side vents are different.
Here is a knock off Alienware case.

Things you can do.
1. Add a side window
2. Install liquid cooling
Weclome to the boards.

Yeah I know that it's an Alienware knock off but it's still awesome. I finally found
a place that sells it online, so if you want to see some better pics click here. (http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/default.php?cPath=29_407)
BTW: It's in German.

I believe it's an Ogre case. When I nearly purchased a computer last year, it was a really similar case I had chosen.
Oh, it's a Vampire case. doh me.
And maybe a metallic silver color would reflect the blue light, but having never experienced anything with paint, I cant really help you down there.
REally nice case by the way ;)
