Not too shabby...would make a great monitor for my workbench. I'm just a little worried about the rebate.

Looks like a good deal, but, check out resellerratings: http://www.resellerratings.com/seller1932.html

Guess it is too good to be true.

Ah that sucks peanuts. I really want to dual screen my rig. But then again I am picky so I would have to buy either two new monitors or an exact model of the one I have now. Which is 200 bucks I dont have.

...if only they made CRT monitors with thin edges and flat screens. Or do they?:?

I have 2 CRTs with flat screens. But they're edges are still bulky, and they still weigh a ton.

Some of the sony crt's use 98% of the entire screen. One of our custy's buys the monitors from us and rips off the skins and mounts them in a special enclosure with the edges of the crt's touching. Looks pretty good and gives them great real estate (2x24" superwide). (and they are flat...)
