Yeah I am looking for a compaq presario 5000. Why? I have my reasons. It doesnt matter about cpu speed or if it even works at all, I just need the case, Or you can sell me the whole system, Doesnt matter

I may have this model at home (not sure, it was a friends system that he wanted me to upgrade and I told him to just buy another computer). I will check tonight and let you know. Everything is in it, but not sure if it workls or not (not that it matters)

Yep it is a 5000 series. looks to be purple too. I have had this system for about 6 months after telling my friend to buy a new computer and I just noticed the cd storage thing as it fell open when I was picking it up.

Anyway I am glad to see this go to someone who wants it rather than the recycle heap at the transfer station...

2 noname carefull you don't bend it beige stamped and folded mini-tower with nonworking mobo and ok cpu (i think) prolly a p2.

I would be embarrased to charge anything for any of these cases, and am happy to have the room back. I would almost like to drag them behind my cruiser all the way to work, just for the effect, but I would probably get a ticket.

in an hour or so. I am working on a rush order for a custy, then I will take the case back to shipping and have them give me a $$ figure. The octane cases I sent out only cost $5 to ship within cali (and they are heavy), so I don't expect it to be too expensive. I discovered that the mobo is loose in the system so I was going to remove it and put it in our recycle bin (unless you want it, but I am pretty sure it is dead).
