Wow...10 times stronger than peltiers? We'll be seeing those exploding in popularity with some luck.

I hope they explode in popularity, for our sake and the company's. They look really new, or they just went public on the stock exchange. I would see what happens before I invest.

I cant wait for the list of pro's and that long list of cons that is undoubtly going to show up eventually. New products always have lots of cons. But we can always hope for the best!

it has the potential to go big, but, how about the price, does anyone talk about that ?

sounds like it wont cost that much to manufacture actually, if the information given is anything to go by.

that would be cool (no pun intended). the cooling could be manufactured into the chip die instead. then all youd need is a heatpipe that take the heat outside the case.

they would be pretty good for hard drives aswell, and on chipsets (cos quite often they are placed in awkward places, like under PCI-e cards)

I dont know if a integrated solution, you would need to have a built in control module that wont permit the chip to go way under the room temp, otherwise you get condensation

Smells like vapourware to me. I know a fair bit of physics and it seems and ok concept on how it works but they are a bit depdent on some magical materials and stuff. But we will see how cool this product really is.

If they decide to use their product in the PC cooling market. If they don't, hopefully the product isn't that expensive so we could just take the Cool Chip out and use it for PC cooling.
