A file is probly going to be your best bet. A sander could work also.

i dont know whats best, but i know what doesnt work. the sanding drum dremel attachments. first of all they wear down really fast. second, its damn near impossible to get a flat surface with a round sander like that unless you hold it at a weird angle.

a file has my vote. you just need the patience. it gets teh job done, but not as fast as you want it to.

I file the edges. This will always leave you with a little lip at each side, which you can then remove with some wet and dry paper (also called glasspaper sometimes.) This always gets a nice finish for me, and even distracts from my bad cuts.

Good luck.

another vote for the file from me, never use a power tool or dremel, it will bite in to deap

file for sure, then use a bur removal tool to take the edges off so you dont slice your self later. safety first :-)
