Hey everyone,

I'm cleaning out my closet and I found the PSU from my old gateway. For the life of me I can't figure out the wattage rating. Is in working condition. First person to post back on this can have it for free, just pay whatever the shipping is.

Thanks

Hey, I'd take it, I'm sure I could find a use for it.

Airmail parcel post - $16.00
Global Priority mail - $15.50

Do you want it? If so, I'll send you a PM and you can send the cash for shipping via paypal or money order or something.

I just have to make sure I have money, but do you have ANY idea whatsoever as to the power/wattage?

Ok, little bit of a problem right here. I only have like 5 bux Canadian, so how long can you hold onto that power supply for, because I will definitely pay.

I just got my final paycheck today. (I quit my job) I can definitly buy it tomorrow after I deposit the cheque, however I'm not so sure I want a 145 watt power supply lol. What are the dimensions of it, is it as larger or larger than a standard power supply nowadays?

Lol, I believe its a little bit smaller, it probably won't work for a main power supply. You also will have to custom wire it to turn it on (lol!). If you don't want it, I just found a perfect purpose for it, it will go to a good cause (my secret project!)

You know what, thanks for the offer, but use it on your project. I have to use my hard earned money on opctical drives or some sort of motor that will power my moving helmet on my project. I totally forgot that I actually have a spare 300 watt power supply that should work just fine. Good luck to your "secret project", make sure you send me pics or something!

(BTW everyone reading this, I need your help on my motorized sliding dilema! Feel free to follow the link in my sig and check out my project!)

Hey Purdy,

Thats fine. PM me the details of the motorized sliding thing. I'll give everyone a hint to my secret project - it involves motorized sliding devices.

I have done hours and hours of research and then actual building on/of motorized sliding devices, so ask me if you've got any problems at all.
