Hi everyone, this is my first post and my first case mod. I plan on making my computer more portable by adding a handle to the top, at the moment it gets verry hot so I plan on adding 2 fans, one to the top and one to the side. I have just sprayed some of the front pannels black and put a pannel over the disk drive. I need to gloss it still http://img183.imageshack.us/my.php?image=pc2zi2.jpg

basic plan, I was thinking black on white with a large fan but i dont know where I would get one yet.

Welcome to the forums!

Looking good so far, sorry to hear about the bent side panel. Also, how large of a fan are you looking for? 120mm? If thats the size you want, almost any computer parts store should have them. Try www.newegg.com, www.xoxide.com, www.frozencpu.com, www.tigerdirect.com and www.directron.com. Those are the sites I frequent most often, and all of them are very good.

Thanx :) I just finished spraying my keyboard, I'll post a pic tomorrow when I get another chance to use the camera. 120mm will do I guess but I was looking for about 200mm. Those site you posted are no good becasue im in the UK. But thanx anyway.

I don't know of any 200mm fans as stand alone pieces, but the Sharkoon Silent Eagle 120mm would fit your colour scheme perfectly: http://www.coolestpc.co.uk/acatalog/Sharkoon_Fans.html#aSH_2dFAN_2d85

The Thermaltake A2330 is 130mm but still well under what you want. Aerocool ExtremEngine 3T case has a 250mm case fan in it, you might get lucky and find one on ebay cheap.
