u/v acrylic rod

i know you can buy u/v acrylic sheets, but can you get u/v rods? cos its for my t-virus project, but i wanted the vials to glow.

shoudlnt be too hard to find on the net, finding the right size and color on the other hand may prove to be a bigger challenge.

ive not been able to find it. im looking for solid green and blue (although clear acrylic with a tint would be ok).

im not sure what size, but im thinking about 4mm.

The flourescent acrylic IS uv reactive. Thats what you're looking for.

if you are making vials to look like they have radioactive goo or whatever in them, try that uv reactive slime thay sell at halloween time. it is like gak (if you remember that stuff) or kids play slime, and they sell it at like wal-mart for a couple dollars with halloween costumes. put that in test tubes and light it up with uv ccfl tubes from xoxide.com. it will look awesome. it glows really bright too, i used it for a costume one time.
