Which one should I go with? I like to play video games with great graphics but I also like versatility. Like the "All In Wonder" version. Is there such a difference between the two that I will notice?

As far as games go I am just playing oblivion right now and I will probably start playing Guild Wars here soon.

I personally would go with this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102022). Save you lots of money, for basically the same card.

What are the major differences between X1900GT and the X1900 All In Wonder? The All In Wonder offers alot of features compared to the GT but what about what its made for.. graphics? Is there a big difference between the GT and the AIW? Or are they relatively the same with just a few slight differences?

I believe the AIW has a different GPU (probably slower clock speeds, etc.) and has cable tv input I think. I think they are used more for HTPCs because of that feature. It would probably preform fine in games, but you would probably be better off with the Sapphire I linked.

Edit: If it this computer will be used mainly for gaming.

Nah, it mostly will be used for movies, music, video editing, picture editing, etc. compared to games.

Also I read that it is a great overclockable card. So those slow speeds arent a problem. I think at max the core was a 30 percent increase and the clock speeds were like over 70 percent increase. I might be wrong though. I am going off of my gold fish memory span.

Then in that case, the AIW will be fine.

the AIW is the exact same card as the other x1900 series.....except that its clock speed is lower and has the built in TV tuner.

And a FM tuner and a few other neato things.

I noticed that! This thing is LONG!

Really? Why are they going to stop making them? Not enough buyers?

The X1900XTX is the top ATI card and the 7950GTX X2 SLI is the top Nvidia card atm.

So why dont they make a AIW version of the top ATI card?

...that would be so exspensive!

Hehe, I never worry about this too much. I would wait until the OS is stable before switching over anyway. Hell it took me years to upgrade to XP from 98 and it was only because of BF1942, and I waited until SP2 (at least some of the bugs were fixed and was no longer considered betaware). I suspect the same will happen with vista. IF it is released by the end of the year (which I serioulsly doubt), I would ga-run-tee there will be an SP1 within a few months to fix all the stuff they _knew_ was broken when it shipped. (this is SOP for microsoft)

well the x1950xtx would be top of the line now, but that isnt going to be available until about the 14th, and im sure it will be megabucks at first.

maleficus has a good suggestion there. ive recommended that sapphire x1900gt to other people too. you might be able to unlock some pipelines and scale the frequency up a bit to get to an xt level or something, and for under 200 its a pretty good price.

I agree with you there slug toy. You can use riva tuner to do the pipline unlocking or whats refered to as softmodding. http://www.guru3d.com/rivatuner/
