I have a huge stereo, and when I mean huge, its GIGANTIC. Its a JVC 520 watt speaker system with 5.1 surround sound, dual subs, and stuff like that. One of two boxes stands as tall as my PC. I figured out a way to connect it through the auxiliary port, and it sounds awesome. Now I can bug my parents and surf the internet. lol.

pics? fines? ;)
Q: you say stereo... that means left+right :) then you say 5.1... and dual subs.. 5.2? ignoring the small differences, show some pics... :)

i totally love huge sound coming out of pcs :) i have like 2kW of speaker power (RMS).. hooked to a 400W amp :( still, it's just stereo.. don't really have the money for a 5.1(or higher) amp :(

WOW! factor increased.... this looks awsome.. i can see why u said 5.1.... it is a stereo, with dual woofers, and a 3 (or 4?)way setup :) not bad.. i bet they sound nice and go low... and inspiring for a mod ;)

Well, they do have 8 surround sound effects, and It would be nice for a mod. But it does pull some power. It even has a cooling fan for the main wiring in the back of the main component. lol

Wow that ain't no boom box.

If I had the stereo I would put to gaint metal legs on it and say it is a mini meck warrior. Coz the speakers kinda look like giant cannons of fire and pain. And teh center unit is its torso.

ROFL holy mother of god man! That thing is gigantic! You should give it a wicked paint job if you know how. Something that sweet deserves it!

I want this one!

I have too many systems at my house. lol. Here's a list:

2 Bose DTS surround sound systems, each with 6 cd changers
1 520 watt system
1 34 watt amp
1 2 watt amp
DVD audio with ELS surround sound

all in my house. I think every room but our sun room has a sound system in it.

Buy a sismograph and turn up all your speakers and see the vibrations.

Lol you must be one of those households that gets lots of visits form the police telling you to turn down the music.

Actually, no. lol. I basically listen to music during the day, and the surround sound components are hooked up to TVs. I'm thinking of wiring the speakers in my room to my computer.
