I finally got to painting my case, but it really wasn't paint i painted it with. It's wierd, but it looks awesome. It gives an awesome brushstroke effect on the case. This may sound wierd, but the two ingredients are polyurethane and lithium grease. Don't ask how I did it. lol.

And the grease doesnt come off when you touch it?

Nope. I have a primer layer, base coat, poly, lithium grease, poly, poly, poly. I'm just waiting for it to dry.

reminds me when i used rubbing alcohol and a blue sharpie to "paint" a beige case. i cant wait to see pics of how this turned out

maybe it was finger nail polish remover, which has acetone, so thats prolly why it worked. but basically, whatever liquid i was using was used to smear the sharpie marks and i used circular motions with a peice of cloth to give the case a very interesting look. its hard to describe, but i was happy with how well it turned out considering it cost me basically nothing. a movie of how your project turned out would be nice, just so long as its high enough quality.
