Okay, So I am building a rig and I know how much it is going to cost me. But I havent a clue on how much I could squeeze out of it as far as value goes. It's going to cost me 1,300 which I am hoping I will get for christmas. I might keep it or I might sell it. If I do sell it then what do you think would be a fair price? (Not only for me but for the customer) Also, what do you think of it? It's not the best but I think it is a pretty sweet rig for the average user! ^_^
Nzxt Lexa Computer Case
Seagate 320GB HDD (Perpindicular Recording)
Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 Mobo
Conroe E6600 (Overclocked to 2.8 )
Thermaltake Silent Water
ATI AIW X1900 (Overclocked to get those speeds up)
Rosewill RD600-2DB-SL 600W PSU
G-SKILL 1GB DDR2-800 (cas 5) (x2)
Memorex DVD Dual Layer Drive
Modded Dark Pearl Blue 17" LCD w/ .3MP built in webcam
Logitech MX5000 Wireless Desktop
Logitech X530 Speaker System
Mimo Wireless Adapter 54Mbps
I think that is just about it. Thanks Guys!

Hello my Mita my fellow TBCS addict buddy
After poking around on ebay and other places I would say $1000 US. Minimum.
The Conroe E6600 and the ATI AIW X1900 means you can demand a high price. Also the Logitech X530 Speaker System adds value as well.
So you are building this computer just to sell it again? Seems a bit of a waste to me. But each to their own.
Sell this on ebay and it will stand out.

I am not sure what I want to do with it. If I do sell it though it will be more than 1300. lol I am not going to sell a rig that cost me 1300 for 1000 thats for sure! It just doesnt make sense ^_^ I'll wait awhile after ATI stops production of the AIW. It might have a chance of selling for more because you cant get that part anymore and its not because it sucks. I am thinking I will sell it through my dad's company. GMAC Realestate. He has some pretty ritzy people in there and the fact that you cant find a system like this anywhere will def add value. Especially my computer screen :P. Which I will start as soon as my friend has time to come over and help me. And you bet I will post a work log on how to paint and mount a web cam into a LCD monitor. ^_^
If I go EBAY? Then yes, it will stand out quite a bit if you ask me. Which means I can up the price a tad bit. I am thinking at least 1500. If not then I will modify a few things in a widely accepted and desired way. Such as the webcam in the computer screen.
If I go GMAC? I can probably get away with 2 grand or more. Mostly because A. They dont know a whole lot about computers and B. They are rich and they buy computers ALL the time because of the constant desire for more performance. If you have ever met a realtor with a POS computer... the blood level in that room rises very quickly. lol
Hmmm, which option should I go with? :p Knowing I can get that much in option B, Option A would have to be at least pretty close to that otherwise I wouldnt sell it. Remember now, fools run the world. Use that to your advantage ^_^
