That's just a bad picture. If you look at the other picture (of it in the packaging) you'll see that it is red.

Origanal price: $529.99

Holy freaking cow.

Is it really worth it?

infineon d9 chips. rated for up to 2.9 volts. ddr1000 at 4-5-4-11 timings and probably room to scale up to ddr1200 or higher. oh its worth it.

I personally would go with four 512's. It's like half the price lol.

I want to see ddr2 1000 at cas latency 3. I would then call it flatline :D

If you see DDR2 1000 at CL 2, that's the time to crap yourself and drool like a retard

and to plan a major heist....

I would buy the 2 gigs, and have 2 more slots open for another set (after of course I sell my blood and birth certificate to get money for it ;) ).

And if you couldn't already tell, I was in fact just kidding. But man would that be sweet.

you know, with a little voltage bump, you could probably do it. a latency of 3 is just a reasonably small step... its already at 4 there.
