cd-rom adventure

i have this old dell laptop. its cd-rom is crazy touchy, like if i am loading a cd and i blink the laptop does not register the cd-rom anymore... i have looked for another drive online, but all are in the 40 to 60 price range, soooo you know what i did....
i used an apple imac desktop cd-rom... thats right... and guess what it works i just pulled dr frankenstien and merged the two... i will have pictures

wow my camera is the worst known to man... or maybe i dropped it to many times... sorry they are so fuzzy... but the one that has the funny looking word that looks like dell... well thats the dell, and the one that looks like it has an actual apple on it.. well thats the apple one...wow im glad i gradgiated the first grades...

So what did you actually to do the apple drive to make it work exactly?

i took the oem drive adaptor off the dell and put it on the apple drive nothing special... iwas really just over playing the whole thing.... the hardest thing to do, was to find a really really really small skrewdriver
