Hey

I'm wondering what the measurements are for the mATX motherboards (by industry standards) also screw layouts would be _AWESOME_

Is there a website that provides all the form factors and there screw layouts + other notable things, for each board type, ATX, mATX, MiniATX, AT (hehe), bTX etc?

Also, once apon a time, I saw motherboards advertised that were custom made, most were only exceeding 1.4-2.0ghz but were very small, and were powered from a direct power input (no PSU) these would be very benificial for fitting computers into tight spaces.

http://www.formfactors.org/ should help. There is a lot of needlessly technical stuff on there, but the measurements should be there, though I didn't see anything about screw layouts.

cheers magnum

Anyone have any idea where I could find the measurements of CD Roms (Both full size and small form factor aka laptop ones)/ Hard drives etc, I prefer to know exactly how everything will fit before I start building my HTPC :) and i'm not near a computer I can open for 4 weeks to measure ****
:(

On the upside, My new HTPC should have a custom made wooden case, with the metallic guts of a Matx case (to provide grounding etc)...
