Here are two designs I made tonight in Photoshop. The idea is to have a very clean and sleek looking case (not properly portrayed) with some of my favorite art work covering part of the window. I may take on a project like this but I would need to get the artists approval. Just let me know what you think.

And for those that didn't see my other thread, this is my NES case idea which will be made out of Legos.

Im not a big fan of them personaly but the robot one would be cool if you used depth like one leg behind plexi so it looks like hes stepping out. Lego would be cool. Lots of people talk about it but Ive never seen one made..actually I think I have seen one but it was kind of ugly :p

My idea to do the art overlapping the window came from all these guys that are cutting designs out and illuminating them from the inside. That's personally not my thing and for the most part the designs, in my own opinion, look like ass.

These are my first designs and I'm still learning photoshop but I appreciate your honesty.

I just had another idea which would be really cool if done well. Isn't it funny how you have great ideas at 6 am after not going to bed the night prior?

The side of the case would be painted like the side of an old run-down 50s diner with a hazy window in the center and the silloutte of a man drinking a cup of coffee would be offset to either side. The lighting from within would give the silloutte it's appearance but stay very dim.

Sounds good, but there's a lot more to a case mod than a window.

How would you get the artwork onto the window? Transparent stickers? Cos i don't think it would look good. You can get paint for this sort of thing, but i don't know if it's any good either.

I quite like the first one, but the second doesn't float my boat.

Dave, I'm starting with the window designs because they are the easiest to mock up in Photoshop. I'm thinking of using an airbrush or paint to put the designs on but I'm still unsure.

Thanks for your input.
