So I am having troubles with picking out a new setup for my new project "audeamus". I dont want to transfer over my dell... that would be just embarassing! So which setup would you choose?

Depends on what you want to do with your PC. I'm going to be overclocking and there's no comparison for OC stability than the P5W. However there are much cheaper and better boards out there for you if you aren't going to OC. The intel badaxe is a good choice for small overclocks and strong stability along with it being affordable.

Overclock it of course, So then I should get the cheap conroe and the nice mobo? I was thinking that already but I just wanted some advice from someone who actually knows a thing or two.

Since you are going to overclock, I will put my vote in for the 2nd option.

It says Dual Lan.... what does that mean? Why would you need two?

dual lan is good for higly intensive lan games and it helps with better connectivity on a network

So... how does it work? Do you connect two cables instead of one?

yeah its like if you have two program that use the internet on your computer.. one will get and send info from one port and another program will get and send info from the other..... almost lik dual video cards... not sli... just plain cards

Wait... lol okay now I have a different question. Can you have 2 video cards in your rig and not have them SLI or Crossfire Ready?

get the asus with the 6600, it may be more, but it is definatly worth it.

thinking about it now if you are on a budget and deside to not get the conroe but the other core, get the gigabyte i think its called the ds3. I hear thats the best for overclocking non conroe core two duos
