Great link Dave.
that 99 performance tips article is well written. I haven't gotten all the way through it but I made a copy in Word so I have a local copy of it tahts easier to read without all the adds.

Yeah, there were a few in there i hadn't heard before too. And that's saying something, because trying to get XP to work as fast as possible is almost a fascination of mine.
