My guess is that it would take some time to learn and master it. But you werent instantly a great keyboard user now were you? :p

Controllers like that are only so useful, though.

Like, You can't get extreme headshot presicision with a gamepad like that but you can't race as well with a kb/m.

Anywho, i thought you were gonna post some revoulotionary device, so all i have to say is:

booooooooring.

EDIT: whoo, saw the video, and that's actually kinda nifty.

Imagine somebody playing UT or something and like throwing it when they get mad, it'll have a seizure.

Yeah, I dont think you can beat the good old keyboard and mouse combo. I thought it was kind of dumb at first... but then I saw the video and I was like, hey, thats kind of cool! Limited, but cool. Keep in mind though, those are for people that are SICK of keyboards and mice. I dont mind keyboards and mice so it isnt worth buying to me. Just like you said, no way can you get the same precision.

that looked like it would be hell to use for a FPS. look at the video, if i was that slow on CS i would be dead before the crosshairs got half way to the target. although racing, flying, and things like that might benifet from a controller such as that

I tried a gyro joystick a couple of years ago and it was horrible. Tried it with racing games, flying games and fps games. Too slow of an update rate and it was _really_ annoying to fly with since you had to hold your hand in the exact position for a long time. Ended up sending it back to the manufacturer and digging out my old force feedback stick. The gamepad might be a little better since you use both hands...

Cool stuff, but I doubt its that easy to master for FPS and other games like Airbozo mentioned. I'd still stick to my mouse and keyboard heh.
