View Full Version : what is the best pci video card on the market?

hey, my current computer doesn't have a PCI express slot and I don't have enough money to build a new one (YET!!! muahaha) but I do have an oppurtunity to get a new video card (birthday), so what would you guys suggest.

I'm guessing by your Post title you don't have AGP either so...

This card is actually really nice: I would highly recommend this.

You could just get a 7950GX2 for when you build your next rig =)

don't blow a lot of $ on old tech if you're planning on upgading to a new PC.

Like I said, that X1300 is probably your best bet: good performance, PCI, somewhat inexpensive :)

The X1300 is PCI-E.

I have the same problem your having, no graphic expansion slots. The best card for a PCI slot is a Nvidia 6200oc. It can be hard to find. I've seen some 5200's and a few 5500's in the stores but the 6200 is the max as far as i know.

No, this one is PCI and it is faster than the 6200oc, check the link ;)
