So, I have a NZXT Nemesis Elite case that I'm modding, the cut out for the window is 12 x 12, and I have a new window I got laser etched, it's however too small for the 12 x 12 space. Any ideas for filling the gap? Or would I be better off finding a replacement panel and cutting a new hole, scrapping the current panel. Any advice is appreciated, also if I am going to get a replacement side panel, where could I find one? (other than getting a whole new case of course)

What I would do is take a piece of steel sheet and weld it/mount it on to the space where your window is now.

Then, cut out your space for your laser etched window and mount it.

Finally, just use an autobody filler such as Bondo brand filler and smooth the sides over, ending with a quick paintjob to match up paints.

You also can put two layers of plexy the etched one and other bigger in the back, in other color, for example, to support the small one. Then light up the window to achieve a different finish.

Stole my idea kumo, but I was gonna say sandwich a colored sheet of plastic between the 2 pieces of plexi or if you feel real creative, sandwich several different colors cut in the shape of your design...
