Interesting idea

Ok, here's an idea, not much of one, really. This is the case I was scoping out today at the local store. <a href=http://www.levicom.de/xilence/en/x1.htm> Here. </a href>

What I'm thinking is this: Toss in a window, paint the ENTIRE frame an identical RED, a couple blue or white CCFL's, red dye in a 1/2" w/c system. nothing huge, like I said, how would it look? :?

Well, I'd say it would look pretty red ;) .

I guess I can't really give it a good or bad idea mark, it's your computer, though I do think it would look good.

And also, white cold cathodes are sweet. I don't know how blue would look with the red theme, but white is a good option.

Yeah I'm thinking red and blue might be a little clashy. Also, unless this is your first or second mod (maybe this is only because I'm tight on money) I would try to come up with some new, interesting idea as opposed to just tossing in a window, painting it all one color and putting a dye in the w/c system. Maybe think about interesting paint jobs with simple taping to define your different areas of color. Maybe make two smaller windows in the area that you would put in just one. Or whatever, maybe that's not what you're looking for.

yer right, the white cathodes would look better. But as for colors, this is my wife's computer, she wants something simple, easy, yet clean. I was actually thinking about getting a thermaltake wave and going the hunter green and silver route instead. All depends on her.

Oh, this isn't going to be a huge ordeal when it comes to modding it. She won't let me. o.O Don't understand why. LOL
