Dave and I have been doing a pretty good job of keeping on top of the spam problem, thanks to you guys being so good about reporting them with the "Report Bad Post" button. We both appreciate it and are working hard to keep this palce as spam-free as possible.
We've started getting reports of spammers sending their garbage via PM recently, and have banned the spammers that have utilized this approach so far, but I want to keep you guys in the loop as to what is going on and let you know how to handle it.
If you receive a spam PM message, forward it to DaveW or myself and we will deal with it. I appologize for the hassle, we are working on a solution and will hopefully have something in place soon.
Thanks.

lmao, omgosh. You guys are hilarious.
Thanks mods, you guys do a great job at keeping the spam down to a minimum.
Some websites use that anti automated create user thing you know? Like you have to type in the numbers and letters... if we had that.. would that help?

Like I said, we're working on it. There will be a lot of work on the forums coming soon, and including a "type in the numbers thing" may be a part of the process.
And I don't make typos. I set the trend. Someone call up Mirriam-Webster and tell them they spelled "palce" wrong.

No, you don't get to do this.
Sorry, guys, it is a privilege that comes with the territory.

oh trust me, this extends deeper than just ability due to territory. vin diesel may have the ability to retroactviely redefine the word "is"... but i have the authority completely disregard and/or discredit any modern conventions of language should i see fit to do so. i see fit to do so quite often too.

Was that an example? Starting a sentance with a lowecase I?

its spelled "kelp" now, but still pronounced "braek". i found that spelling it out as "break" was far too time consuming.
oh by the way, i accidentally redefined coronary today too. a coronary is now the phenomenon of an old man that looks like einstein yelling at you with a megaphone. you can avoid coronaries by making eye contact.
