I'm pretty pissed off now. I ordered my computer from Newegg last week after going through a whole bunch of card verification errors, and payed for next day shipping and recieved it all around 10:30 Friday morning. After I assembled it all, it turns out the power supply didn't work. So I pay $85 to overnight it back to be replaced, and recieve my replacement one today. So I hooked it up, turn it on, and it worked. Then I unhooked it to install it into the case. After that, it stopped working. I tried jumping it and everything. So now I just requested a refund, and ordered a different one instead. The reviews on the site show a lot of other people recieved dead one's too. Just stay away from this one and don't even bother.

I have heard only good things about Seasonic's PSU I'm supprised you are having so many gripes with it. I have know idea how that unpluging and repluging could have cause problems.

I read about a fail safe thing with it that causes it to shut itself off, but I did what it said to get it back to normal and that did nothing. I even tried jumping it with a paper clip. This particular one has a lot of reviews with people recieving dead units. This would be a great power supply if it worked, and I like the way it looks and how the cooling is setup.

Good looks bro. I'm glad you finally got a working psu. I'm actually the type of person who will research a product for a whole day before I spend money on it, of course my broke ass cannot afford the shipping to send it back and forth between my house and the distributor. I also try to stick to namebrand products whose company has been around for a while = experience. In general, any product I've ever bought with some random name I have not heard of before 5 years past, like Powmax, Xtreme, SiS, etc. has given me enormous trouble with nothing to show for itself but a dent in my wallet.
