Is it dual core?

Battery lives don't exeed over 6 hours of charge. YOu might aswell add a spare battery. Make sure you get the most warranty you can for it. Becuase everyone who has a laptop, spills some **** into it and knowcks it over or drops it.....

well, If its not dual core it isn't worth 3 grand.

For 3 grand get the XPS M1710 Laptop. Here is a link to costimize one

http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&oc=M1710R1&s=dhs

-Don't costimize anything, just change the Hardrive to a 160 gig for an extra $55 bucks and change the Combop drive to a DVD burner. It will only cost $100 more then the Alienware, but you get Dual Core this time.
