Will the card work fine? I don't plan on hooking up two 7950GX2's or anything, I'm just wondering since the 7950GX2 is basically two 7900GTX's together.

The computer is suposed to read the 7950GX2 as a single card. One of the selling points NVidia has for the 7950 is you really powerful graphics on any platform, as long as the mobo supports its usage of the PCIe bus. Apparantly there are compatability issues with some mobos without a bios update. For more info, I think I read this in some of the early reviews of the card that explain how it works.

It shouldn't have anything to do with SLI, just check the mobo manufacturer's site for compatible video cards.

Yeah it's just that everytime I started up it mentioned an error about SLI, saying one of the cards was removed. I went into the device manager and I think I fixed it.
